<lj:music>526. Sakamoto Maaya - [Saigo no Kajitsu #01] Saigo no Kajitsu [4:51]</lj:music>

Hey! Long time no post! Hahaha the usual habits of slow posting is getting worse I see... Well as the title says. Its all about the tragic and terrific news thats been going around this week. Lets start with the terrific news shall we? Ive become an uncle now! Yep now I'm the official Ero-Jiji (its just a title, please don't think I'm actually ero...). My sis just gave birth on the 1st of December. Its a girl too(AND NO I'M NOT INTO LOLI...). And I'm not allowed to post pics yet. Sucks to be you haha! Another one is that I'm turning 20 just today, 4th December! Getting older and pervier I'd say... And I'm still single too *sigh* The 20 years old virgin. Strike 20 more and I'd be something like that 40 year old virgin movie hahaha.
And now for the tragic! Well its not actually tragic. I choose that word cause it rhymes you see... lol. Up till now I'm still unsure and regretted the path i choose for my future. The further I go the further I realised what my parents are planning to do. It seems that they're trying to breed me and not to raise me as... well you know, somebody! But nooo.... I think thhey just wanted me to do what they want and everything. A living proof is everything around me. Thats probably why i often sulks nowadays and the urge to kill just pops up from time to time. I know this is bad and I don't need help.... i don't know what to say anymore. I just hope none of my family reads this(thank god nearly all of em aren't really interested in internet).

And once again a big and huge thank you for all of those who replied! Your words have become an inspiration for me! Thats one problem solved and another to go through. Parents/Families are one heck of a mystery. I guess they tried to make the best for me. Now after I decided to not continuing 3d, they kept pestering me if i did the right choice. I wonder what happens if I said the other way again.... Its a never ending cycle of madness i tell you. Though without the Spartans lol.
So todays already the 5th in the morning... The last 2 days have been a great and wonderful time for me. 2 cosplay events at 2 places and one of them failed miserably though. I'll be posting the images later so be sure to check my multiply page later in a week or 2( yes I'm really slow on updating. Its either the laziness or the lack of speed).
Well thats all for now. My sis wanted to see my portfolio and tried to promote me in Singapore for now so now I need to finish my portfolio ASAP and made it as leet as hers....

Well the time has finally come to choose if i were to follow 3d animation or not. Ive been hibernating for almost a year and finally the big debate with my family came up last Sunday. They were threatening and at the same time advising me of weather to continue my uni to a bachelor degree or follow the family business. I hope I picked the right choice of not following animation industry. It was a regretful choice and i hope i can bear with it. I liked animation but im not sure i can live with it. Being the eldest son on an Asian family is very hard... Well to put that aside you can expect some good things too. I'll be continuing my wallpaper works around December or next year ( or so i hope lol). So tell me fellow readers. if you were in my situation what would you do?

Just got back home from Singapore since last week due to CgOverdrive '07. Alot has happened and i mean A LOT. I think I'll start with my first day at the conference there.

The first day i got late going there since i have to went to a clinic first because i got a slight fever. Thankfully I only missed the welcoming speech. The conference was started with the people from SquareEnix talking about their history and how they work in Japan and it looks like theyre recruiting people too...(BANZAI!) And then after that it was followed by Michel Gagne. We got alot of Ratatouie makings from him which is cool and then theres Feng Zhu who showed us about concept art making(i wish i can draw and paint...*sigh*).

The next day, i didnt got late thankfully. The first conference was started by John Chalvant from Red Engine Productions who showed us his works on Warcraft 3 followed by Mohsen Mousavi from Pixomondo Studios who talked about the workflow in the production pipeline. After that it was David King, also called the king of speed modelling and i tell you. He's fast... Later on came Imaginary friends from Singapore who showed us their work and How To's(as cool as Feng Zhu!)

For the Final day, Theres talk about the basic principles of cinematography by Leo Hourvitz from Polygon Pictures followed by Paul Hormis who talked about Rigging techniques. I never knew there was a job called a "rigger". The unsung heroes of animation indeed :( They need more love! Back to the topic. After that it was JJ Palomo who talks about compositing effects using another medium. It can be either after effects, combustion or one more i forgot the name lol. This guy was awesome since he showed some transformers stuff in it. And lastly Kyle Balda, Supervising animator. He showed us the main points in animation especially in walkcycle. He also showed how does and eye moves which is totall cool.

Well that concludes most of the conference. Sadly i dont have any pics since my dad's camera ran out of battery and he forgot to bring the charger home from china(*SOB!* NOOOOO!!!!)... Other news i can share is im currently sick! well since the first day of the conference that is. Im trying my best to get better but it just seems to get worse... *sigh* My sister who's pregnant also went sick :( I was hoping to see her tonight but looking at my current state... oh well, see you next time!

Many times have passed since i write the last time. Ive been thinking alot lately. Theres the opening of a stand with my friends thats due next month but the bigger problem is this.

What am I going to do now and next?

After the fight with my family about studying overseas, they finally thrown me upside down and put up the sign of defeat... And i still cant admit that. The reason why i didnt want to continue here is that because the universities here lack 3d Animation and others thats related to it. Up until now ive seen many digital artists from the working world and universities internationally (thanks to Cg Overdrive and CGTalk). Binus University in Indonesia was an interesting place to join up since ive got friends there that shares their experiences but the problem is that i dont think i can cope with 7 years of study... Its too damn long(Granted that the clubs there are VERY VERY interesting! lol)! Now lets back to our main title topic.

It seems that even though i wanted to go overseas, i just couldnt let go the feeling of leaving the MT gang (yes i know youre reading this, lol) so Im going to stay here. Stay until i have enough money to run away from my own. This was inspired by sls and cerena actually. So, after graduation im going to entirely focus on getting a job on which i love most. Luckily my teachers have been so kind to provide me with some of the companies here in Indonesia thats still recruiting young graduates(BANZAI!). Well this problem was solved temporarily, now we can move to the next problem!

Last week my friends and I have made up our mind to make a stand on the Japan Evolution(short for J-Vo. I know it reminds me of Mitsubishi Lancer Evo series but their not related, trust me!). We're going to open up a shop that sells Kikagori, Konyaku, Pudding and Ocha! Currently im on the brink of exploding myself to smithereens since its so damn hard to get a simple ice shaver that shaves blocks of ice(no, not the small cube ones but HUGE blocks of ice). Oh well I'll stop my story here. This saturday and sunday's going to be a hit at Taman Anggrek since theres another Cosplay Event gathered there with Animax as a sponsor and next sunday im finally going to singapore again to join and visit Cg Overdrive 2007! See ya'll next time!

I wanted to follow them to but my family said it might be better to go to China instead. Can you help me with it?
So right now ive been accused for exceeding usage of internet band with in my family. So yeah big deal i can still accept that. Now its just the first day of the month and I'm SURE that ive checked the download limit for this month was still 900 megs left but when i checked it on the night its only 400 megs left! So i went to ask my brother if hes using the internet and he said yes. Now here's the choices i can make with the problem.
1. Should i asked my brother what and why he downloads? Cause if I do, then he'll go ape and yelled at me for minding his business? or
2. I just sit back relax and enjoy waiting till the last of the month and get yelled by the family for excessive usage again, burdening someones mistake.
Alas... i've finally got back to my anime watching rhythm. So ive just finished watching Sousei no Aquarion and now im currently watching Eureka 7. So far ive seen how it ends and it totally sucked... *sigh* two exact animes with nearly the same idea of plot. what i dont like in these 2 animes is the ending. Why the hell do japanese animes have to end the story hanging? I mean, you KNOW how the story would end but theyre giving us hints that its not like that! wtf man?! why cant you just make it "and they live happily ever after" with images of em smiling?!

today was christmas and i think its time for me to put another entree here. alot has passed since the last time i submitted an entry. finally got my exam marks and i still yet to confess to the girl i like... DAMNIT WHY IS IT SO HARD TO GET THE PERFECT TIME?!?!?!...

Well moving out of the topic now... Just bought lots and lots of anime near my family's workplace( I cant believe how many of em are there!) So now im currently watching Aquarion. Why? Simple. THERE IS MECHA!

MECHA = WIN AND GOLD!

that sums up most of my animes i like :|

Although theres some weird part on the anime that's totally out of the way of mecha minds but overall its cool. Other than Aquarion, ive just finished watching Gokusen and the next animes ill be watching till next year was NHK, Higurashi no naku koro ni, Glass Fleet... So many animes to watch and so little time... *sigh* not to mention coming up cosplay events, wallpaper and 3d deadlines. ARGH! if only time could stop. just for a day. ALL I NEED IS ONE DAY!
